Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is one of the best games based on a movie in memory. The possibilities of the open world are endless and fun is guaranteed for many hours.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a solid open-world action game that may appeal to more than just fans of James Cameron's movies. While many elements are similar to the Far Cry series, Ubisoft's title has enough of its own personality to call it more than just a spin-off of the well-known shooter series.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a staggering sensory experience, and the consistent beauty of its world goes hand-in-hand with an engaging story.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora brilliantly takes us into the world created by James Cameron, telling a canonical story that takes place in an unseen area of Pandora but that we can perceive as authentic thanks to the care and attention Massive Entertainment has put into its creation. However, that's the only truly excellent aspect within a production that promised so much (quadruple A, they said) and instead proves to lack great ideas.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora features a stunning alien world to explore with a refreshingly uncluttered approach to navigation, countless enemy bases to destroy and Na’vi clan sidequests to complete, and no shortage of exotic flora and fauna to harvest and hunt. However, its combat is pretty one-dimensional, its mission design is a bit on the repetitive side, and its environment is generally lacking in any major surprises beyond visual splendor, meaning that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a solid shooting adventure that’s more inside the box than truly out of this world.
Pandora looks inviting but turns out to be nothing but nice décor with which we can barely interact in meaningful ways. The gameplay on the other hand primarily consists of missions and mechanics that do not respect the audience’s time and simply aren’t fun.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is frustrating. I’ve never seen a game that looks as brilliant as this, but the game’s art direction is let down by so-so combat, awful AI, and weapons that just aren’t satisfying.
Nothing beats exploring the jungles of Pandora, or the beautiful grasslands with swaying trees and megafauna. However, the game stops there with a very generic storyline, generic far cry style combat, and the inability to save at will.
This game was so close to becoming a masterpiece. They really got the terrain and environment design down, and this game really lives upon that. However, once it begins to wear off, the unimpressive and repetitive gameplay begins. Sadly, I found myself scrolling through facebook during its cutscenes, and didn't miss a thing...

Upsides: visuals. Literally jaw dropping, seriously, Pandora looks just beyond beautiful
Movement is super engaging and was surprisingly good
Downsides: Everything else. Story **** absolute ass, gunplay is... Eh? Characters... Exist, special effects generally look absolutely horrendous. The world is typical for any Ubisoft game, you saw it about 20 times already
Buy only on sale,or use any other means of absolutely legally acquiring the game, take some otherworldly looking screenshots and forget that the game ever existed

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is another game in Ubisofts ever growing Library of Lazy Design with impressive art and graphics.... an example of abused employees and consumer trust.
This game is near enough to Far Cry with the exact same gameplay and systems that you can easily just call this a Avatar DLC for Far Cry 6....
Don't waste your money on this and play literally any Far Cry game you own as you will get the exact same experience as those... it is sad to say this as there IS clear effort put into this games art design and clearly careful detail... its a beautiful world marred down by the Studio behind it.
