Overall, Grendizer is a solid game with a clear love and passion for its classic super robot source material. It’s also very much meant for fans of Grendizer, otherwise much of its appeal and charm will be lost. It also clearly needed more time for polish and general graphical optimization. That said, it still plays decently with these shortcomings and is worth a look for those that want to pilot an old school super robot.
UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves should not be purchased if you are looking for a new great game to complete. If you dive into it with this idea, it's very likely that you will be disappointed. This new game from Microids is instead a kind of monument to a great author and one of his most beloved robots, a collectible piece to be placed between the action figure of Mazinger Z and the collection of comic books dedicated to Getter Robot.

This is a fantastic entry into a property that many will have no knowledge of but will still feel instantly familiar. With a budget price point and multiple game play types it feels like a tremendous value. Microids have done a great job with Grendizer and I can't wait to see what else they have coming.

Ufo Robot Grendizer The Feast of Wolves is a game designed by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. And nothing else. In Italy the localization operation gave us a magnificent dubbing: adhering to the original also in the choice of timbre of the voice actors and voice actresses, as well as in the tones, vocabulary and theatricality. If you don't get bored of facing about 5 hours of very basic challenges and combat just to enjoy these moments of profound nostalgia, then feel free to raise your final rating by half a point. Perhaps with Ufo Robot by Microids you could make a younger relative experience, in an interactive format, a story from your past: the legend of the "thousand valve circuits" and the "miracle of electronics" that "sprints and goes in space".
UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves is a heartfelt tribute to the giant robot genre. It's clearly a lower budget title, and technical issues certainly sour the experience somewhat, but there's good, straightforward fun to be found if you're a fan of classic anime.
A clear love letter to the Grendizer anime, The Feast of the Wolves is still a rather shallow title that may not have you on the edge of your seat, but it will provide a few hours of mindless robot mayhem.
UFO ROBOT GRENDIZER : The Feast of the Wolves is an excellent tribute game but as a video game, it doesn't achieve much. While the gameplay is really enjoyable, the challenges quickly become repetitive, and the game suffers from major technical problems such as clipping and occasional framerate drops. A game for nostalgic gamers and hardcore fans of the anime, who will forgive anything the game can't do right.
The desire was there, the passion of the developers too, but the Grendizer site was far too important for Microids and the Enroad studio. We do not know the real budget that was injected for the game, but if there is one thing that is certain, it is that the game lacked financial resources. Technically weak, and graphically ugly, this Goldorak unfortunately cannot hide these technological shortcomings under its cartoon D.A. The semi open world is obsolete and not up to par for a 2023 game. It's empty, it's bland, nothing happens, and the game is also riddled with collision bugs. Added to this are also numerous frame-rate problems which spoil the experience a little more, while problems with proportion and scale value ruin the feeling of being at the controls of a giant 33-meter robot made of metal.

بطل فليد يخرج لنا من دهاليز الذكريات الجميلة التي سكنت أباء جيل السبعينات ووصولاً الى شباب التسعينات لمواجهة اسطول فيجا والدفاع عن الكوكب الأزرق الجميل، وككل عودة وإعادة زيارة لأي ماضي جميل يأتي معها القلق ووزن كبير من المسؤولية تجاه مطوري اللعبة لإظهار ارث أيقوني بشكل يرقى لشعبية وصورة اسم عريق مثل جريندايزراستطاعت اللعبة ان تعطي اللاعب البداية الجميلة والمثالية بدايةً من اول حوار صوتي ويعود الفضل الكبير لذلك لشركة "مانجا برودكشن" السعودية لجلبها المؤدي الصوتي الأصلي للغة العربية "جهاد الأطرش" فالمؤدي والاداء الصوتي كان ركيزة وجوهر أساسي لكل متابع لهذا العمل الذي ساهم بربط المؤدي بالشخصية والشخصية بالمؤدي والذي ما زال يؤدي ببراعة صوت الشخصية والذي ساهم بشكل كبير للغاية بجعل تجربة جريندايز أجمل وأقرب الى قلب اللاعب طيلة المغامرة في اللعبةعلى صعيد أسلوب اللعب ,فقد ضمنت اللعبة الضربات الايقونية المشهورة للجريندايز و تجسيد ادائها كان ممتع و جميل و يدق جرس الماضي الجميل في كل ضربة اعتاد اللاعب ان يستمتع بها في الشاشة القديمة , برغم ذلك ارى ان اللعبة لم توفق في الكثير أيضاً من تنفيذ اساليب اللعب بسبب اعتماديتها على اكثر من ميكانيكية لعب واحدة قلل بذلك الجودة العامة فـقد افتقر اسلوب القتال الى الكثير من السلالة و التناسق لعدم القدرة على المزج بين الضربات و ثقل سرعة تنفيذ بعضها او الانتقال من نوع ضربة الى اخر بشكل حركي سلس كما لم تساعد الكثير من الاخطاء التقنية هذه العوامل على التحسن , فاللعبة لا تحافظ على معدل اطارات سلس و تتدنى بحده في نخسة الكونسول عند المناطق الشاسعة و اثناء كثرة الاعداء و عند كثرة المؤثرات البصرية القتالية (وهو السيناريو الغالب في اللعبة )مما يؤثر على جودة الحركة و التسبب بخشونة للصورة و تعكير متعه القتال تمنيت ان تتضمن اللعبة ولو قليل من المشاهد السينمائية برسم الانميشن ولكن اكتفت اللعبة بمشاهد ثلاثية الابعاد أظهرت العمل كما لو كان لعبة قبل ان يكون عمل انمي وبشكل لا يجذب اللاعب تماما للاكشن القصصي الذي فيه.واجهه المستخدم تفتقر الى الكثير من اساسيات لعبة بهذا التصنيف فاللعبة بعوالم مختلفة مفتوحة تحتوي على عناصر جمع لا توجد بها أي خريطة مصغره او مفصله وسيجد اللاعب صعوبة في إيجاد كثير من العناصر لصغر ايقوناتها وكبر حجم اللاعب نسبه لها زيارة بطل فليد جريندايزر الينا مجدداً كانت جميلة ومليئة بالحنين برغم قصرها ونقص الكثير من عناصر اللعب الاساسية والفنية الا أن الاحتفاظ بالقصة بعناصرها وأركانها المشهورة والاداء الصوتي الجميل لـ جهاد الأطرش كان مبهجاً كفاية لأخذنا الى الماضي الجميل كما هي المتعة وللاستماع بمشاهدة الضربات الشهيرة جريندايزر
