Sure, you could spend your entire time shooting at both living and dead, but the best gameplay comes from varied and mechanically diverse controllable characters.
In the dull routine of everyday life of military shooters, this is a colorful change – but the sometimes chaotic fights of flora and undead suffer from a limited number of maps and modes.
It’s a great game in a slightly flimsy initial package, then, but Popcap has stated that it plans to release free bi-monthly DLC to thicken the crop of modes.
What at first seems like a bizarre experiment actually turns out to be an accomplished and brilliantly entertaining multiplayer shooter. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare might not manage to hold your attention for more than a few hours, but while it does, you can't fail to have a blast.
The game offers that experience you can expect from good shooters, but without that complexity. The thing is it is very limited, and the contents and modes are not enough to support its ideas.
Sadly, any gains made here are squandered by woolly controls, a dearth of feedback and infuriating inaccuracy even with aiming assist dialed up to maximum.
This is just a fun simple game then has some quite chaotic multiplayer moments. The best mode by far was capturing or defending territories- and then the final territory to defend or capture was a huge base-this part of the game got very chaotic. The plants and zombies classes were all very unique and fun to use. Defending the tower was also very fun as there was a variety of zombies to defend against. There was not much to the game but it also did not do much wrong.
This game has a good price and is pretty fun with friends. Just your typical shooter and I don't have much to say about it. I would recommend it to people if they just want to have fun.
Nothing like previous incarnations. Current version is more like a first person shooter which is ridiculous because plants by their nature don't run and jump. Also, all plants must now be offensive because of the fps aspect. Previously there was a wider range of options with more strategy. Also, there is essentially no single player aspect to the game anymore. An EA account is required to play which is ridiculous. Furthermore it has lots of pay to play options which doesn't provide a level playing ground unless you drop some cash. This game is no longer fun and nothing like it used to be. If you want this type of game play there are plenty of other options that do it much better. Also, multiplayer is no fun as the connection is frequently aborted and the match-ups are uneven.
I just accidentally purchased plants vs zombies for my kids on he 360, accidentally because I didn't realize it was EA. micro transactions all over the place, cant play unless you sign up for Origin and everyone's mic is on with no option to turn it off globally, have to manually mute everyone when the game starts.
