In fact, nothing about Pikuniku bothers me. It’s a happy, fun little game that needs to be enjoyed by everyone who owns a Switch, and the world is a better place with games like this in it.
Pikuniku is a unique and stand out experience that makes you feel good to play it. It certainly isn’t for someone looking for action or a serious challenge, but those who want a relaxing game where you bounce around, kick things, and make friends will find a lot to like here.
Both my 9-yr-old son and I loved this game. The simple art is really pleasant. The physics feel right. The characters are actually funny. There's enough mystery to keep us interested without getting frustrating. Bought it on sale and it's one of the best purchases I've made for the Switch. Highly recommend.
The music is like bab dun dun dun bab dun dun dun bap dun dun dun dun de de dun dun
The gameplay is fine
The game is so goddamn funny and happy that it is my 4rth fav game ever honestly its cheap buy this game
Pikuniku is an odd game, yes, but it is a fun, relaxing one to boot. There are few better ways to spend an afternoon than in its colorful, quirky world. It may not be long but you’ll have a big, dumb smile on your face the whole time; a pure realization of quality over quantity.
While Pikuniku is a light experience, it's got enough charm and verve to stick with you well beyond completion. From Piku's weird wobbly gait and looping jumps in the opening right through to the game's funny, bizarre ending, Pikuniku is more gripping than its simple aesthetic and playful tone would suggest. It'll make you feel like a kid again.
Pikuniku is an absurd puzzle-exploration game that takes place in a strange but colorful place, where the characters are not as happy as they seem. Fun and enjoyable to play, but too short.
Pikuniku is relentlessly charming throughout its short-but-sweet several hours of play. Many of the more enjoyable moments aren’t even mission-critical, so you’d do well to keep your eyes peeled for bonus nonsensical hijinks rather than just speed your wobbly red appendages towards the conclusion. While not the most sophisticated experience, Pikuniku is a bonkers trip worth leaving your cave for.
I don’t have a slightest clue who for and why was this game even made, but on the other hand I simply have to appreciate the big heart which was put in it. [03/2019, p.77]
This is such a fantastic little game! The comedy is hilarious and very entertaining, and I love the funky leg movement. The music is also astoundingly good! I found some of the track on Spotify :)
I had fun playing this game, and I think it's basically the point of all this. It's stupid, absurd, cute and the universe work.
I really liked the humor and the art style. It's nice to see something simple and stupid being also of good quality. Of course it's far from perfect and having a more substantial story could have been nice (especially the ending, feels like it's more of a ''oh well whatever let's get back to our lives'' kinda feeling).
Making the missions worthwhile could have been nice too since at some point they was some stuff I didn't care about doing since I knew nothing would happen except ''You did the mission''. I want a little more than that. ;-)
Some music are really catchy and that was a good feeling.
For 5$ on e-shop sale, it's worth it. You're gonna have a funny 3-4h of play between bigger games that need all your focus and energy. And we need games like that too in our ecosystem !
SummaryPikuniku is a puzzle-exploration game that takes place in a strange but playful world where not everything is as happy as it seems. Help peculiar characters overcome struggles, uncover a deep state conspiracy, and start a fun little revolution in this delightful dystopian adventure.
