If you own a Xbox One or a Windows 10 PC, you need this game. Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition is fantastic, in almost every way.
Beautiful, packed with content, easy to play yet hard to master, Killer Instinct Definitive Edition is without a shadow of a doubt an excellent 2D versus fighting game.

With the adding of Shadow Lords, Killer Instinct become one of the most interesting fighting games of this generation. The Iron Galaxy title is a great and entertaining game; It offers an amazing experience, for the quantity and for the high quality of its content.
Good things come to those who wait. After three years filled with content and with the added Shadow Lords mode Killer Instinct evolved from an ugly duckling that hardly didn’t offer any content to a potential prospect for the beat-em-up throne.
I got this game for about 11$ with tax when it was on discount, which factors into the rating, it would be a score of 9 at full price.
-The amount of content in this game from the skins, retro costumes, characters that fit all different playstyles and are different from each other is amazing
-It also comes with the two older arcade versions of the game which can be fun, though I would recommend an online walkthrough for those games
-I just started fighting games but I got through the first 28/32 tutorials. They even teach about frame data and many important features of KI and fighting games
-The only thing that lacks from this game is character tutorials, a mortal kombat style story mode and an easier to view screen showing the openers, links, etc... Though given the budget and time for this game it is hard to complain.
-One other complaint would be an option to change the user interface for those of us that got in the game late to its earlier version, and shadow moves that shadow the character and that are not just purple.
-The single player content is fantastic, from the story modes, shadow lords, trials, challenges, etc... The unlockable and customizable content is probably the best in a fighting game ever.
-The audio is top tier I started playing this game without a headset, but when I have played with a headset the experience is much better and immersive. I would recommend Aria as commentator :) This is as good of a fighting game as there is out there and a great fighting game for beginners
-I hope Microsoft makes a 2nd edition or adds on more seasons, they need to realize this is one of their best exclusives and something that can help them as a brand. There is a cool documentary on youtube about this game that I would recommend watching as well.
-Also of all the games I have played this has the most achievements which can be fun to earn and look very nice as PC wallpapers(by using the Xbox app)

Killer Instinct é um bom jogo de luta, tem personagens interessantes e você sente vontade de jogar com todos eles e os personagens de outras franquias da Microsoft que foram trazidos para o Killer Instinct foram muito bem escolhidos e tem uma gameplay fantástica, o modo versus do jogo é como o de qualquer outro jogo de luta ou seja é muito bom, já o modo ao estilo torres do Mortal Kombat X consegue ser tão bom quanto o de Mortal Kombat e te dá vontade de "zerar" com todos os personagens, mas o grande problema desse jogo é a falta de uma campanha convencional como a de Injustice II e Mortal Kombat X, em Killer Instinct temos um modo história totalmente dispensável que não segue os padrões dos outros jogos de luta e nem qualidade dos seus concorrentes, já o multiplayer (que eu joguei muito pouco) é bem básico e segue os padrões de outros jogos de luta o que não é ruim já que ele consegue ser tão bom quanto o da concorrência. No geral Killer Instinct é um bom jogo de luta com um bom modo versus e um bom modo ao estilo torres do Mortal Kombat com um multiplayer legal como o de seus concorrentes e personagens muito interessantes mas sofre com uma péssima campanha que consegue reduzir
muito a nota final do jogo.

To date the game has not had a sequel or been optimized for the next-generation Xbox Series S|X.Until when will we depend on Microsoft to do what needs to be done in their exclusives? We have to keep begging and yet we are not heard. The game is sensational, don't get me wrong, but the negative note is for the company's neglect. There's no point in buying multiple companies if you're going to leave franchises rotting in the basement
