Brutal action, addictive multiplayer, shredded bodies and stunning visuals. Developers from The Coalition showed that they belong among the leaders in this field. The fourth part of Gears of War can only be recommended. [Issue #268]
A GoW game made for GoW lovers: it manages to successfully leverage all of the series strengths with a convincing story and a new cast of characters, awesome graphics and a contents-packed multiplayer, even if they're not trying to innovate the series.

This game is no as bad as people said.
True, it is not as dark and damp ad the first trilogy, but I like the new colorful aesthetics.
This game is better than number 5.

Gears 4 is a painstakingly crafted love letter to those that have a meaty soft spot for the franchise. Aside from the costly cosmetic-focussed transactions, this is the exact experience that fans have been waiting for.
Gears of War 4 is not a breakthrough for the franchise, but it underlines a successful transition from Epic Games to The Coalition. We would have loved more risk-taking, but overall it's still a great game.
This is still a franchise about muscle-bound men and alpha women using machine guns fixed with chainsaws to eviscerate battalions of antagonists. But I love it unlike any other big-budget shooter series.
The competitive multiplayer isn’t much of an evolution from previous efforts, and the campaign drags for a bit, but the high points make it worth the ride and the new Horde mode is simply stellar. If you’ve enjoyed this franchise previously or have a few friends looking for co-op, give Gears of War 4 a close look – it’s definitely worth the time.
The game's successes as a continuation of Gears of War's narrative falter in the face of stubbornly archaic gameplay.
This is an amazing game and one of the best of the generation. Graphically it looks just as good if not better than many next Gen games. Story wise is amazing. The story is fun and focuses on new characters that I enjoyed and loved as well as giving you great nostalgia with old characters. The gameplay is the best the series has ever had which is saying something as gears is widely considered one of the best playing third person shooters out there.
It’s a fun game with a great story and great characters, it’s also super funny. If you have game pass playing this along with the other gears games is a no brainer. If you have a Xbox and have been on the fence about gears 4, I say do it! You won’t regret it!
This game is clearly getting review bombed by PlayStation fans. The Xbox store has it at a 4.5/5 stars. Critics also loved it. This game is criminally overlooked.

Tiene un gran comienzo en el que ofrece novedades, como enemigos nunca antes vistos o las oleadas, que dejaban entrever un cambio en la saga. Pues nada, a partir de la mitad del juego se convierte en más de lo mismo, con los locust ofreciendo tiroteos con coberturas una y otra vez. Una lástima, porque la saga es monótona hasta cansar.
No hablaré del nulo carisma de los personajes.

Dificultad artificial la cual se basa en enemigos esponjas de daño en espacios cerrados mientras te atacan enemigos aleatorios (esto refiriendome a la maxima dificultar)
El modo horda es bueno, pero los enemigos siguen siendo mas que algo que debes planear como enfrentar solo esponjas de daño las cuales se limitan a estar parados disparando directamente confaidos en que ganaran ya que recisten hasta 12 segundos de daño consecutivo sin parar.
La unca "tactica" que te incentiva a cambiar de cobertura como en anteriores entregas de la saga es que los enemigos se lanzan cual Kamikase hacia ti resistiendo todo el daño para luego eliminarte de un solo golpe, todo esto un tiempo aproximado de 0.5 a 3 segundos, siendo una jugabilidad injusta a menos de que lo juegues en las minimas dificultades.
Teniendo mas protagonismo la suerte de que las balas no te den a tu capacidad para resolver problemas en situaciones apremiantes.
Por otro lado los protagonistas carecen de alma o carisma a especion de un par de secundarios, y el diseño de los enemigos es muy bueno visualmente, pero esto no puede zolapar el pesimo gameplay que han creado.
