The definitive collection of the Amnesia games all in one package. They remain as terrifying today as they were when originally released. Mixing some puzzles with a narrative exploration game, this isn't a game full of action. However, the atmosphere is oppressive and unnerving which is exactly what we want from a horror game.
The gap was wide and had to be absolutely filled: after 6 years we see the arrival on PS4 of one of the most influential horror game of the modern times, Frictional's Amnesia: The Dark Descent, along with the expansion and the valuable spin-off by The Chinese Room. Grab it, if you love first person horror experiences.
I loved watching them in lets plays back in the OG days, PewDiePie and others, this collection brings the original games in a well done port and still scary, sometimes challenging as they always were.
I enjoy getting in this universe once again and cant wait for Amnesia Rebirth, which i hope its gonna be a great return.
Excluding the minor mechanic-like controls, its overall a really good experience for beign a PC to Console port.
The definitive collection of Amnesia games. Even without new content or a graphic upgrade, all the titles of the saga are still terrifying. Simply a must buy for all fans of the genre.
Amnesia: The Collection proves why it’s one of the most imitated horror games of all time: it’s also one of the best. While there’s not a lot of new content for any returning players, if you haven’t played Amnesia, now’s the perfect time to change that.
The main ailment that plagues the Amnesia series is its subject matter. It sounds far more damning a criticism than it ever ends up being, given that the games are there principally to scare you and impart a mood, a tone. The plots and characters are stretched to breaking point in more ways than one.
The Amnesia Collection fails to revamp the original visuals and lacks the bonus content to entice existing fans. But for newcomers, this three-course dish of blood, guts and horror quickens the pulse like few other games can.
It was a nice experience and I was scared the first half of the game, I would recommend this game to you if you like to be frightened the only problem with the game is that I had to use some walkthrough to find out what I was supposed to do, the best thing about this game is the atmosphere that effects and sound effects they are phenomenal to make you feel uncomfortable and frightened. The only problem is the half way through the game the enemy stop being scary because you killed by dem and you Begin to get killed by the multiple times it loses the terrace effect and just become another game enemy. It's a game I would recommend and even better it's very cheap
What a boring mess ****... i was really hoping it would be better but finished the first game in the collection and it was boring the whole way true... the back story was great... i really wish that was the game you played, but its not, not mutch more to say, boring game, had potential, what a shame.
It has great atmosphere; the visual design, the voice acting, writing, sound design, music, and insanity effects all come together to create a really cool vibe. But the actually gameplay is sad. Puzzles that are either really easy or involve searching around forever, or running away from things. That's it.
SummaryImmerse yourself in three living nightmares that promise to chill you to the core. The collection contains three Amnesia titles: The Dark Descent, A Machine For Pigs, and Justine.
