This stunning remake renews a brilliant horror adventure and manages to feel like one of the freshest games we've played in ages.
Motive Studio has knocked it out of the park. This remake of Dead Space is far superior to the original classic. Great additions, impressive graphics, outstanding audio and more make this game a must-have.

Usually, i dont like that much survival horror games... but this one... Dead Space, brooo, it is soo good, like, the atmosphere inside the game is just frenetic, all the time youre expecting some kind of space monster to come and jump to your face. The story is quite interesting, and the gameplay is really solid, with amazing weapons and cool powers!
For me is the best survival horror game ive ever played! 10/10 for sure

Motive has taken on the momentous task of bringing a classic back to life and they utterly nail it, crafting a faithful game that tweaks just enough to unsettle returning and new players alike. The atmosphere is thick, the sound and creature designs are on point, and its graphical update sets the bloody and visceral standard for survival horror in 2023.
EA made a massive mistake ending this series, one of many massive mistakes it made after getting the single-player formula right so many times, but, hopefully, Dead Space: Remake shows them the passion and creativity that gamers lust for, and, hopefully, Dead Space has returned from the dead space EA left it in.

Dead Space remains one of the best survival horror games ever, and the 15 years that have passed are hardly felt at all in terms of structure, gameplay, combat-system and setting. If all remakes were like this...
With this remake, Motive has managed to treat the original Dead
Space with the utmost respect whilst rebuilding it to be perfect for
today. Almost every improvement serves to enhance the reputation of a
horror classic. Dead Space should be the blueprint for creating a truly
exceptional remake.
Dead Space is an excellent remake, recommended both for newcomers, who will enjoy an engaging and terrifying survival horror, and for fans of the brand, who will appreciate the many new features introduced in the plot and gameplay. This remake represents an optimal starting point for the saga.
Everything good about Dead Space 2023’s basic gameplay, combat, and narrative is a result of what Dead Space 2008 built. Most of what this remake adds is either less appealing artistic alterations or side content that generally amounts to unnecessary padding, and quite frankly I’d have been more interested in a remaster than a glitchy new take that’s less enjoyable and costs more. When you add the repulsive context of EA benefiting from a series it once destroyed right down to the developer, you get a game that leaves a sour bloody taste, even if it’s an acceptable mimicry of its predecessor...Dead Space 2008 is fifteen quid on digital storefronts.
A phenomenal remake that makes me even more excited for a potential Dead Space 2 remake.

They made solid remake this is for sure. Thoughts about horror game in space was a revolutionary idea. But this game is not a horror game its a thriller. Some games are game with horror. In this game horror has supporting role. Science fiction elements in this game is solid. Graphic design is solid. Poor boss fights. Laslty after 9 hour gameplay it became a little bit stunner (if you are not a big fan of this serie or science ficton horror theme.).

Started good: spooky setting, good graphics, fun gameplay. Difinitely better than The Callisto Protocol. Then it went too long, boring and repetitive. I was going to give it 7-/10, but the last chapter and the last boss fight ruined it for me: 4/10.
