“Blood and Honey” feels like a throwback to a simpler era of filmmaking. Not an era where movies were better — because it’s not particularly good — but a time when a film could be produced, marketed, and turn a profit just by promising audiences an image they hadn’t seen before.
As a horror and a comedy, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey has no rhythm with either, and it's too dim to be worthy of a curious look.

Film di altissimo spessore; pubblicato solo quest'anno ma già chiaramente un cult, capolavoro da vedere assolutamente una volta nella vita se si vuole dire con franchezza di avere una cultura cinematografica. Fin dall'inizio, jumpscare per niente scontati e trama incalzante, che fa passare questa ora e mezza come fossero 5 minuti. I costumi iperrealistici, le scene truci architettate ad arte, il finale aperto lascia angoscia. aspetto con ansia il sequel.

I love this movie for the fact because of how silly the premise is
I grew up watching Winnie the Pooh so this is pretty interesting twist
I do find the lore behind Winnie and his gang interesting tho a little silly but i understand your not supposed to take the film seriously.
The kills are great the gore is spot on not bad for a low budget movie it's very creative one criticism I have is that the villains look more like humans wearing masks especially piglet.
Good effort tho I hope to see a sequel.

There are some surprisingly attractive shots in director Rhys Frake-Waterfield’s low-budget film — honey drips from Winnie’s mouth in a sadistic “Silence of the Lambs” way — and the acting is committed rather than arch (even if the dialogue is lousy-to-inaudible). Yet it is impossible to recommend to the average horror fan in search of a good movie.
As a subversive take on Milne, it’s achingly banal. As a rural horror film, it’s more inept than the most wretched Wrong Turn sequel. As a would-be cult classic, it commits the ultimate sin of being no fun at all. This bear is sh*t in the woods.
It’s not funny enough to have anything clever to say about its gag, and it’s not exciting enough to be a competent horror movie.
Blood and Honey is a hundred-acre wasteland, a witless gory bore, and in the end, you’re just depressed that anyone spent time working on it.
What could've been a halfway decent dumb idea becomes a full-on nightmare of bad choices and terrible filmmaking.
Of course is not the best slasher film, it is low-budget. But the plot was interesting and campy. Already a cult film.

Although Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey managed to take me to the movies using its name, unfortunately, it did not satisfy me with its content. I expected the director to design creative deaths and scenes based on old B-movies, but the film is far from pushing the boundaries. The only expectation was to see the killing spree that Winnie and Piglet would do. As a matter of fact, I must say that I left the movie unhappy when I couldn't see those either.
