Five Nights At Freddy’s has flaws, but it is an excellent adaption. It feels like the game while still being accessible to any newcomers by crafting an original story.
As far as middling entertainment goes, Five Nights at Freddy’s fits the bill.

Para mi es una de las mejores peliculas basadas en videojuegos no supera a la pelicula de mario bros pero si es muy buena la recomiendo totalmente

With dreary visuals and a lack of real twists or scares, there isn’t much here for a general audience to hold onto. Die-hard fans will be satisfied, however, and for young newcomers to horror, it might just be a perfect scarefest and jumping-off point into the genre.
At least Scream star Matthew Lillard brings some creepiness into his little screen time. Otherwise, Five Nights At Freddy’s is moribund.
When 'The Banana Splits Movie' got there first, and did it slightly better, you’re in trouble.
There are moments where it feels like it could have become a more gleefully mean-spirited horror ride by really sinking its teeth into the story and actually biting down, but it remains hamstrung by the rating as well as a lack of creativity.
Caught between PG and R, as well as lost at the crossroads of inadvertent comedy and horror, the PG-13 Five Nights at Freddy’s has to go down as one of the poorest films in any genre this year.
La película para un fan de la saga como yo fue un poco decepcionante. La historia es muy diferente al lore de la saga al igual que el comportamiento de los animatronicos en el que en esta película se comportan de manera fácil salvo la escena final. Teniendo en cuenta los problemas que tuvo esta película en el desarrollo es entendible que la película tenga varios errores en su guion, pero salvo todo lo demas esta bastante bien. Los animatronicos estan muy bien hechos en ese aspecto le dieron mucho cariño y es de agradecer, los actores son buenos actuando en su rol y además que se agradece las referencias que metieron la película. Como dije antes la película tuvo grandes problemas en su desarrollo por eso la película se siente incompleta y apresurada, y se entiende por tiene errores en algunos aspectos, también siento si la producción hubiese salido bien esta película seria mucho mejor. También me alegro que la película haya sido un taquillazo ya que a si la segunda entrega salda muchísimo mejor ya que se note el cariño que le pusieron a esta película. La película es media tirando a buena y si eres fan de la saga te recomiendo que la veas.

I wanted to like this movie, but unfortunately, it fell quite short of expectations. I wanted to see something scarier with more blood and guts. Maybe I shouldn't have been surprised I didn't get that with a PG-13 rating. But the movie far less than what it could have been, and the decision to tone it down ultimately is what prevented it from reaching those lofty heights.

If it is something for the kids see it, and after take for the rated R route, makes things meaningful, it will get cool, cause there’s potential.
The movie feels like they wanted to take the kids movie way of narrating a story, lots holes, stuff happening and is clearly explained by words and not actions.
Nothing is cryptic, nothing is strange, nothing has blurry meanings, and everything must be clear from doubt.
It doesn’t feel like a horror movie, sometimes is a comedy, other times something that happens cause it should.
I hope, just that with a sequel we will get the real thrill ride that fnaf should deliver.
I don’t pretend the same story, but I want a story that actually get somewhere. Not this.
