Astro Bot Rescue Mission is not only the best PSVR title to date, but also arguably the best platformer of this generation so far.
Easily the best platformer and PS VR game on the market this year. Astro Bot: Rescue Mission is a showcase to how VR should be utilized moving forward. Astro Bot: Rescue Mission is a must buy.

Had an awesome time with this game. This game also has 0 motion sickness for me personally. I loved it!

Awesome platformer for PSVR maybe The best Platformer on VR. Got this game free with my PSVR Mega Bundle and i played it right away. It was my first PSVR game and it was AMAZING. I am not the biggest fan of platformers but I really enjoyed Astro Bot.

Both a meticulously crafted adventure and a fabulous PS VR showcase - one of 2018's nicest surprises. [Issue#336, p.79]
Not only is it the best platformer on the PSVR, it's also good enough to rival some of the recent releases on modern consoles. It's a fun, friendly, and charming title that will make you 'ooh' and 'ahh' for the game's duration.
Astro Bot: Rescue Mission is one of the best examples of the virtual reality that we’ve ever played, and it’s also one of the best platform games of the year.
Astro Bot Rescue Mission succeeds in almost everything it tries. And it shows that you can have a great VR game without first person perspective. It is both entertaining, fun and unique, despite some bad camera positionning.
Astro Bot Rescue Mission, like its titular hero, gets the job done.
I rarely put a 10, especially to a VR game. But despite the average sharpness on the PSVR1, this game shows that VR can be terrific even for plateforms, and that gameplay & level design quality is much more important than the resolution of the display or the quality of the lenses on the VR headset. Terrific game, easily one of the best VR game ever.

Astro Bot Rescue Mission is an amalgamation of recent Nintendo platform games, such as Super Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, and Splatoon. Problem is, those games weren't great, they were just average. This rendition is greatly improved by a clever second-person view that I would love to see more of in video games. Problem is, while taking ideas away from Splatoon, they could have taken the lives system (maximum of 3, restores every checkpoint). Problem is, this game is just good. It's not GREAT. It's not enough to justify the prices of PSVR on top of what a PS4 or PS5 costs. And make sure it's at least a PS4 Pro, because this is a very advanced game that might crash on something earlier.
Overall, this will be a fun game when many more people experience it for the first time in 2025 when it runs smoothly enough and prices of the hardware are low enough.

Not the **** the best VR game. I don't know if those people are really actual reviewers or companies accounts bots to make the game a 10 out of 10 and make buyers to buy this game. The game actually gives you the full potential of controller. Beside that there is nothing new. Its not superb game and of course its not similar to NES mario as some people write (i guess they never play Astrobot and Mario). Imagine any 3D platformer in VR. Exactly the same as Astrobot it would be. I giving 0 because this score is unfair and make consumers to buy a game without really gives anything. If you want a good VR experience try Resident Evil 7 and not Astrobot.

Didn't think that a platform for vr was possible. But this is a great integration of the genre with virtual reality. The character is super cute, level design is super mario level or better, soundtrack brings happiness in every play session. Every level is unique and different and concepts are almost never reused. Bossfights are quite simple but really entertaining. It' s a must buy for every psvr possessor
